De acordo com a informação avançada, as motherboards da série 400 têm um socket LGA1200 e são compatíveis com os processadores Intel Comet Lake-S.
A lista de novas motherboards 400 da ASRock inclui as Z490 AQUA, Z490 Phantom Gaming 4, Z490 Phantom Gaming 4 SR, Z490 Phantom Gaming 6, Z490 Pro4, Z490 Steel Legend, Z490 Taichi, Z490M ITX AC, Z490M Pro4, W480 (para workstations), H470 Steel Legend e H470M ITX AC.
